Impressions of Polish students about meeting in Bulgaria, 5-9 June 2023
Dominika Róża Modzelewska, grade 8b:
I really liked the trip to Bulgaria. I am glad that I could get to know Bulgarian culture and traditions. I am happy that I met many wonderful people there. My favourite place on this trip was the ethnographical complex Rosa Damascena in Skobolevo. This is probably not a big surprise, because my middle name is Róża, what in Polish means Rose.
Oliwia Komosińska, grade 8b:
The trip to Bulgaria was a very interesting experience, we stayed at the Puldin Coop hotel where the service was very polite and the food was pleasant. The Bulgarian food was tasty and traditional. On the first day we visited the school, we learned a lot of interesting things, we visited different classes and there was a talent show, we learned foreign languages and spent time together. On Tuesday we visited the basilica and other interesting places. On Wednesday we were at the aircraft museum, the guide told us about the history of these aircraft and their pilots, we got to know the costumes that the pilots of their decks wore, in the evening we had a farewell party for handing out certificates, the organizers prepared a Bulgarian dance surprise for us, it was very exciting. On Thursday we were in a field of roses, we learned the history of Bulgaria in connection with roses, and in the evening we had free time and spent it together. On Friday there were sports attractions we flew kites and there was an opportunity to play football, volleyball, basketball we knew kayak races and then it was time to say goodbye I met wonderful people there, these were unforgettable moments spent during education and time spent together.
Natalia Surawska, grade 6b:
I liked the views the most from my trip to Bulgaria. Bulgaria is a very beautiful country, the only downside is the garbage around the dumpsters. One of the reasons why I wanted to go there was Nastia, a friend I met when she came to Poland with the project and I wanted to learn about the culture and traditions of this country. I learned a lot and I met a lot of interesting people during the meeting. I am very pleased with my trip to Bulgaria and would love to visit again.
Julia Haponik, grade 6b:
I remember the project meeting in Bulgaria very well. During the meeting I visited many interesting places. Among them, I really liked the Bishop’s Basilica and the Valley of Roses, which I think are beautiful. I also had the opportunity to try the local cuisine and meet many new people with whom I still keep in touch. I also really enjoyed the international dinner with certificates. The trip was very interesting and successful. I recommend everyone to participate in Erasmus+ projects.
Malwina Jasińska, grade 5a:
I was very fascinated by the trip to Bulgaria because I discovered a lot of friends and visited interesting places. I learned a lot of words and phrases. The most interesting place for me was the garden of roses with amazing species of flowers. There are very nice people in Bulgaria. I really liked their dishes that we got in the restaurants. In my opinion, Bulgaria is an amazing place on earth. I really liked it there and I would like to visit the local places again.
