Impressions of Polish students about C4 meeting in Turkiye

 Janusz Świderski, grade 6b:

During the flight to Turkey for the 1st time I flew by plane and during the flight I felt good and I really liked the views. On the first day we had time for ourselves and that day we went with the boy who hosted me to meet David and his friend. I liked the fact that we went to the basketball court and could take turns throwing, and then I met 1 more Turk and Portuguese. Later, we went for a walk by the sea together, and then to a café near the city center. The next day we went to their school and I was very surprised that dogs and cats could walk on their school grounds. Less surprising was that their school bore a large Turkish flag and their former president. At the end of the day we went to dinner by the sea and played a friendly football match on the grass next door and even though 1 team lost, everyone was happy. The next day, various games for children were organized at the school. At the beginning we went to an art studio where we made pictures in a surprising way, which we later got as a souvenir. Then an international Kahoot was organized to check knowledge about Erasmus +, which I won, which surprised and pleased me very much. Next, a puzzle contest was organized, which we came in during the laying and the Turks started to put us together, and then we just finished. Later, demonstrations of robots and drones were organized. Then there were robot races where I took 2nd place and it didn't make me sad when I saw a boy from Croatia finish the race as 1st, because I saw a small robot driving towards me with a funny drawn face, which made me laugh. Then we visited the ruins of the ancient city of Antiochea ad Cragum and the King's Bay by the sea. The next day we had the opportunity to go to the Altanyi and see the museum and the great waterfall. The next day we went to visit the ancient theater of Aspendos, and then we admired the views from the cable car and visited the castle in Alanya. At the end of the day we went to a farewell dinner where they handed us diplomas. Then we took a colic photo to say goodbye and said goodbye.  During this time I got to know Turkish culture, cuisine and learned a little about their history, but the most important thing for me was to meet those people with whom I could have great impressions.

David Modzelewski, grade 6b:

I liked a few things the most about the trip, because it was so interesting that you can't choose only one activity or place. One of these things is time for us and our teachers, because we could get to know the city and our teachers a little better. The second such thing was restaurants. The food there was good, we've been to a few but you can't choose one best where the food was the best. I will remember for the rest of my life how we were going down the steep paths to get to Kings' Bay where there was access to the sea how my heart was beating hard then, luckily I had good shoes and good ground so as not to fall over. That was the first time I touched the sea there and it was even warm. And the weather is fabulous, warm and sunny. One of my most favorite things, but most of all, it was cats. There were cats everywhere. Whether at school, next to a museum, or in the gardens, literally everywhere. And my favorite thing was the international Kahoot in which my friend from Poland - Janusz took 1st place. I enjoyed the trip very much, I would like to participate in the next ones in the future.

Oskar Pieciun, grade 7a:

Turkish memories

When we were in Türkiye on the first day we had free time together with my friend from Türkiye we chose a cafe and went there. In the cafe we could play and watch movies all the time. The next day we went to the school where there was a guided tour, we read the presentations, we took pictures, we had lunch in Türkiye, we visited the sculpture museum in the city of ruins and exotic gardens, we also visited the mosque, we played Turkish games and we visited the museum archeology in Antalya. We saw Aspendos Theatre and we were on the cliffs where a lot of people were swimming, on the way we stopped to see a waterfall which was very big. Dinners and lunches were very good, most often we ate chicken on the grill or kebab. The last day there were the best places to visit we visited the Red Tower of the old castle where the views were very beautiful, we walked a lot but it was worth it. When we finished sightseeing we went to a restaurant for a farewell dinner I was very sad because I had to say goodbye to my colleagues but I still keep in close contact with them. In Türkiye it was fun I think I will go somewhere else again.

Natalia Cimochowska, grade 7b:

When we went to Türkiye, I did not think that I would see so many cool places and beautiful views. Thanks to the fact that we stayed with children from Türkiye, we had better contact with them and more opportunities to speak English and learn our language. On the first day we were personally with the family on the beach and at the vantage point from which the beautiful city was visible. The place where we were located had the access to the mountains and the sea, so we could visit more places. My host family and I played board games and spent time in a cafe. On the other hand, the next day, when we all met together, we could visit a beautiful and large school that had many interesting rooms and we participated in art classes and watched a robot show. Thanks to the fact that we spent some time at school, we could also try food in the school canteen and spend time on in the fresh air and play various sports with students. The rest of the next days we visited neighboring cities. One of the attractions that I remembered very much was a trip to the mountains and watching beautiful views. I am very happy that I could take the opportunity and fly to Türkiye. Thanks to this I met a lot of wonderful people I had more opportunities to use and learn English.
