Turkish students' impressions from meeting in Greece-C1
GREECE MOBILITY FROM THE EYES OF THE TURKISH STUDENTS:
ALP AÇAR (17):
At first actually atmosphere was really different.I mean, even when I was walking in the streets I felt like meeting lots of new people.People of Greece were really friendly unlike I expected. To be honest I was worried about whether something bad goes between Turkish and Greek people but It didn't happen. However, it was totally vice versa and I am delighted for that.Other groups in Erasmus project were really nice and honest.I just couldn't get close enough to Croatian friends but on the other hand Portuguese and Polish friends were quite funny and friendly to hang out.
MEVLÜT DÖNMEZ (16):
It has been an incredible experience for me. Getting to know different countries and cultures made me happy. I think my view of the world has changed totally. The experience was way further that I had expected. The worst part of the mobility was that we couldn’t stay more. I am grateful to all Greek teachers and students for this awesome week. Thanks for everything.
GÜL AĞAZADE (16):
I was so excited when I went to the Greece. Because this was my first Erasmus experience. But I must admit that the journey was a bit tiring. I admire places we go. I feel like I can live there forever. Architectural buildings, statues and especially food were great. Their food and cultures look like us. So it was easy for us to get used to it. All of our partners were very sincere. It seemed to me that I have known them for years. I got many souvenirs from Greece because I want to remember Greece when I look at those items in my house. I hope I can go to the Greece again.
ZEYNEP ÇAPAK (16):
I went abroad for the first time. I really wanted to participate in the ERASMUS project. I enjoyed making new friends. All the teachers were very kind. Thessaloniki trip is an unforgettable one for me. Because I saw Mustafa Kemal Atatürk' s house. This was very important for us. The historic places are amazing. It was a pleasure to meet new cultures. It was a project that I joined with excitement and left happily. I am glad to be part of this great team.
