European Language Day in Primary School no 1 in Grajewo

  European Day of Languages in SP1 On September 28, 2020 in Primary School No. 1 in Grajewo, foreign language teachers and students prepared the celebration of the European Day of Languages. Students made beautiful posters that were displayed in school corridors. During the ceremony, the genesis of the holiday was presented, interesting facts about languages were presented, presentations informing participants about the next Erasmus + project "Cultural Similarities and Differences Between European Countries" as well as films about partner schools and countries were presented. Students were acquainted with the goals and expected results of the new project. The purpose of establishing this event by the Council of Europe is to make the general public aware of the importance of multilingualism in Europe, to nurture cultural and linguistic diversity and to promote language learning, also outside the formal education cycle.   Europejski Dzień Języków w SP1 Dnia 28 września ...

The objectives of the project EuroCulture

Objectives: The main goals of the project are to get to know the culture, traditions, history and customs of other European countries through active participation in the project, international cooperation, direct contact with students, teachers and other people from other countries. Students will compare cultures and traditions and find similarities and cultural differences between partner countries. The project will have an impact on local institutions dealing with culture and history (e.g. museums and others). We will cooperate with institutions dealing with topics related to our project and with local authorities. Teachers will be very active in planning teaching and learning activities in order to achieve the results of the project. Thanks to the project, schools will establish closer cooperation with organizations spreading our cultures and traditions, and with local authorities.
