Impressions of Polish students from Croatia

Impresssions by Polish students who participated in the meeting:

Julia Haponik class 6b:

I really enjoyed my trip to Croatia and consider it an interesting adventure. He was very interesting and I learned a lot from it, for example about the culture of the country. During the entire trip we visited many interesting museums, towns and cities we saw various Croatian monuments. Of all of them, I liked the most a museum that was mostly in the open and looked like mine in my opinion, like a small town with small stone houses built on its territory. We had a delicious lunch there and later were shown around the rest of the grounds. We learned some interesting things, including olive oil and olives. At the end of this During the trip, we went to a shop with branded items produced in this place, in which contained not only olive oil, but also various oils, creams, soaps and snacks. I also enjoyed the guided tour of the old castle in Split, where apart from seeing ruins of the castle walls and learning some information about its history we could see also various exhibits including a lot of weapons. The building was located on the mountain from which there was a beautiful sight. Leisure time was also a nice time during which mainly We walked around towns and did some shopping. The restaurant was a beautiful place over the water with mountains on the other side. We featured in this restaurant also two Polish national dances. Apart from them, we also presented presentations of our history of Poland. During the trip, she also met many interesting people from abroad. In my opinion, people from Turkey and Portugal turned out to be the nicest. During the trip, I also had the opportunity to practice my English. I think I did quite well, although my friends and I had a couple of funny situations where we couldn't really communicate. Overall, I really enjoyed the trip. I hope it will be in the future another opportunity to go somewhere together with the Erasmus+ project.

Paulina Pieńkowska, class 6b:

In my opinion, the trip itself was great. There were a lot of things that I liked, e.g. the possibility of archery at the target, walking around the stalls and buying various souvenirs and trinkets, visiting ruins and castles, various museums, as well as the plane flight itself. I was a bit disappointed because we couldn't take advantage of the zip line ride. All the people from other countries were nice to us and there was a friendly atmosphere between us, but with one country it was different, because it was a bit of an annoyance to us. During the trip, I was most afraid of presenting the presentation, but I think it was not as bad as I expected.

To sum up, this experience was very successful, interesting, informative and the best I've had so far.

Dawid Szumski class 6b:

On 26.02.2023 I left school with friends for Croatia. First, we had to get to the airport in Warsaw which took us about 3 hours, when we arrived we gave our luggage and picked up the tickets, then we went to check-in, where we were checked and our hand luggage was x-rayed. When we went through the check-in, we walked around the shops a bit and headed to the gates, and then to the corridor leading to the plane. After a short wait, we heard the message to fasten our seatbelts and took off to Munich, where we had a change, at that moment I felt joy, the flight took about an hour. When we arrived in Munich we got on the second plane and took off, the flight also took about 1 hour. When we landed in Split, we picked up our luggage and got on the bus and drove to the hotel, the journey took about 45 minutes. When we arrived we got our rooms, I was happy with the room. After unpacking, we went to eat at a restaurant and went shopping at the supermarket.

The next day we went to Dubrovnik, where we visited the city, but the weather did not allow us to continue sightseeing, then we had dinner and free time, after a few hours we returned to the hotel. The journey was very long and exhausting.

The next day we went to Sinj, where we visited a traditional museum, then we had free time for shopping and eating. After a while we went to visit the church. Then we went to visit the Klis fortress, and then the cultivation of fruits and plants. After returning at 23.00 we had a farewell party, where we got certificates.

The next morning we ate breakfast and returned to the airport, at the airport as part of the wait we watched a movie, but not long because we had a flight to Zagreb, where we had a change, the flight lasted about 1 hour. At the airport we waited 3 hours, after a while we flew to Polish. When we arrived while picking up suitcases, we met a group from Romania and together we got on the bus and headed towards Grajewo. We arrived past 23.00, when we got off our parents were waiting for us.

In my opinion, the trip was very interesting and did us good, but it could have been a little longer. I would like to go somewhere again.

Karol Biadun class 6b:

Impressions from the Erasmus trip to Croatia "On February 26, we had a meeting in Grajewo near the school to go to Warsaw to the airport." “The trip to Warsaw went very well for me, because I was traveling with a friend I know and I was curious how it would look like. We got to the airport, went through the expedition and explored the airport a bit and it was already time when we were supposed to fly. Once we got on the plane, I felt stress because it was my first time flying on a plane, but once we were hovering above the clouds, I liked it. When we landed I woke up and we took the bus to the airport in Germany. When we were on the plane again, I didn't feel any stress, just curiosity about what we were going to do. As we landed, I felt joy that we were here and then you drove us to the hotel where we were supposed to sleep, we checked in and went to the city. The next day we went to a meeting in which Croatia sang nicely and we went for food later we went to a restaurant where we presented dances with dance I wasn't stressed because it was more fun than presenting it too seriously and we were learning Croatian dance in which there was a lot laughter because no one but the Croats could do it. When we woke up, we went for breakfast and left for Split. As we arrived, we visited Split with a guide. I liked it because you could see that the gentleman was trying to tell us, not talking, because he was talking and we had free time in which we went shopping and ate food. The next day we got up a little earlier because we were going to Dubrovnik to which we were going for 3 hours when we got there it was raining the lady told us and it was time to eat something we went to a restaurant where we ate calamari which tasted average to me we went for souvenirs and ice cream we came back to the hotel and went to present our presentations about our countries. When we woke up we had breakfast and went to The Alka of Sinj Museum which wasn't very interesting but I liked the weapons that were shown. Later we went to the olive oil museum where I liked the views and the vegetable plant and then we went to the castle which was on the mountain but I didn't like it there much because there were also nice views and the building itself was interesting also it was great when we shot the bow at the target although I wasn't very good at that, once we got back to the hotel we had a farewell party which was so so they gave us Erasmus certificates''. “On the last day in the morning we had to be packed and ready to leave. The moment came we went to the airport and on the one hand I'm sorry that we have to go back but it wasn't so bad because the lady made us a cinema at the airport she put the laptop on the chair and we watched it and it was time to leave we flew to the next airport and from this airport to Warsaw and from Warsaw by bus to Grajewo, in general, I really liked it and I hope that I will have the opportunity to fly somewhere else.''
